Tourist Visa Requirements

• Original, signed United States passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity, after completion of stay in Bolivia, and contain at least one blank visa page

• Passport-type photographs: 1

• Copy of Hotel Confirmation, or letter of invitation from friends or relatives in Bolivia.

• Bank solvency copy (bank statement of your checking, savings or credit card)

• International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever is required (except for minors age under 1 year).

• Itinerary. Copy of round trip tickets or itinerary.

Business Visa Requirements

• Original, signed United States passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity, after completion of stay in Bolivia, and contain at least one blank visa page

• Passport-type photographs: 1

• Copy of Hotel Confirmation, or letter of invitation from friends or relatives in Bolivia.

• Bank solvency copy (bank statement of your checking, savings or credit card)

• A business letter of responsibility is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:
  Embassy of Bolivia, Visa Section, Washington D.C.
  The letter must explain all of the following
  – Purpose of the trip
  – Name and address of company to be visited
  -Guarantee of financial responsibility and return transportation

• Letter of Invitation from the institution that requires your presence in Bolivia
