Visa Requirements:

1 Original, signed United States Diplomatic or Official passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity, after completion of stay in Nigeria, and contain at least one blank visa page

Temporary Duty (TDY) – (for less than a month)

• • 2 Application form must be completed ONLINE and SIGNED
  • 2 Passport-type photographs:  — Photo measurements – 250 x 400 pixels for pc / 320 x 320 for mac
  • Color Copies of Bio Page
  • Copy of PASSPORT BIO PAGE AND VISA PAGE OF THE SPONSOR- (for dependent & Spouse)
  • MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE for Spouse
  • BIRTH CERTIFICATE for minor dependents

• • 2 Application forms must be completed ONLINE and SIGNED
  • 2 Passport-type photographs:  — Photo measurements – 250 x 400 pixels for pc / 320 x 320 for mac
  •    Color Copies of Bio Page
  • Copy of PASSPORT BIO PAGE AND VISA PAGE OF THE SPONSOR- (for dependent & Spouse)
  • MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE for Spouse
  • BIRTH CERTIFICATE for minor dependents

Permanent Change of Station (PCS)

• • 4 Application form must be completed and SIGNED
  • Passport-type photographs: 6 — Photo measurements – 250 x 400 pixels for pc / 320 x 320 for mac
  • Visa valid minimum of 30 days S/E
  • Color Copies of Bio Page
  • Copy of PASSPORT BIO PAGE AND VISA PAGE OF THE SPONSOR- (for dependent & Spouse)
  • MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE for Spouse
  • BIRTH CERTIFICATE for minor dependents

Holders of Official Passport are henceforth required to complete online application form at Nigeria Immigration Service website: https://portal.immigration.gov.ng/pages/welcome to obtain Application ID and Reference Number. The completed application form must be printed and submitted to the Embassy with passport-size photographs preferably with white background, Official Passport, including any other supporting document(s).

Do not pay the visa fee online.

Diplomatic/Official Passports are not subject to Consular fees.  

Minimum Processing Time –   10-15 Business Days
