Tourist Visa Requirements

• Original, signed United States passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity, after completion of stay in Paraguay, and contain at least one blank visa page
• 1 Fully completed and signed Visa Application form
• Passport-type photographs: 1 color required
• 1 copy of your passport vital data pages
• 1 Copy of return airline ticket or travel agency itinerary
• Note: Applicants less than 18 years old – both parents or the legal guardian must present a copy of their passports, copy of the minor’s birth certificate, a notarized travel authorization signed by both parents or the legal guardian, proof of legal guardianship (if applicable) and evidence of financial solvency. Both parents must also sign a minor’s application form

 Business Visa Requirements

A business letter of responsibility is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:

Embassy of Paraguay, Visa Section, Washington D.C.

The letter must explain all of the following:

• Nature of business to be performed;
• Name and address of reference to be visited;
• Guarantee of return transportation and sufficient funds for the visit.
• This letter should be signed by an officer of the company other than the applicant.

Embassy Fee:

$160.00 per Visa Multiple entries visa – valid for the life of your passport – and valid for stay up to 90 days each entry)
