Tourist Visa Requirements

• Original, signed United States passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity, after completion of stay in Tanzania, and contain at least one blank visa page
• Fully completed and signed Visa Application form
• Passport-type photographs: 2
• If traveling with a tour group, a letter from the tour operator confirming full payment has been received.
• Vaccinations – International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever required
• If traveling individually, a photocopy of the airline tickets is preferred, or travel agency/airline itinerary.
• If tickets are not available, the bank statement must show min. USD 2,000 available funds.

Embassy Ordinary/Tourist Visa fees:

• US Citizens:$100 (Multiple entry) for one year, 90 Days at a time
• Non-US Citizens:$50 (Single entry) for 90 Days
• Non-US Citizens:$100 (Double entry) for 90 Days each

Business Visa Requirements

• Original, signed United States passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity, after completion of stay in Tanzania, and contain at least one blank visa page
• Fully completed and signed Visa Application form
• Passport-type photographs: 2
• If traveling with a tour group, a letter from the tour operator confirming full payment has been received.

• Letter of Invitation – from USAID/Tanzania.
• Travel itinerary
