Tourist Visa Requirements

• Original, signed United States passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity, after completion of stay and contain at least two blank visa page
• Fully completed and signed Visa Application form
• Passport-type photographs: 2
• HOTEL CONFIRMATION IS REQUIRED
• Itinerary. Copy of round trip airline tickets or itinerary, or letter of confirmation from travel agent

Business Visa Requirements

• Original, signed United States passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity, after completion of stay and contain at least two blank visa page
• Fully completed and signed Visa Application form
• Passport-type photographs: 2
• Copy of Hotel Reservation
• Itinerary. Copy of round trip airline tickets or itinerary, or letter of confirmation from travel agent
• HOTEL CONFIRMATION IS REQUIRED
• For any minor travelers, parents must provide a “NOTARIZED” letter of consent stating that they are authorizing the minors to travel. Copy of birth certificate.
• A business letter of responsibility is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:

Embassy of Mozambique, Visa Section, Washington DC

• • Make 3 copies of business letter
  • The letter must explain all of the following: 
    • Nature of business to be performed; 
    • Name and address of reference to be visited; 
    • Guarantee of return transportation and sufficient funds for the visit. 
    • This letter should be signed by an officer of the company other than the applicant.

Minimum Processing Time: 15 Business days

Notice: The visa must be used within sixty (60) days from the issuance dates.

Single Entry- 30 days

Regular processing-10 Business days- $ 160.00

Expedite processing-3 business days- $220.00

Multiple entry-90 days 

Regular processing-10 Business days- 180.00

Expedite processing-3 business days- $250.00

Legalization Fees: $180 USD per document

Police Clearance for Residence Visa: $250.00

(Non U.S. Passport Holders)

Normal (10 days): $180 USD

Urgent (3 days): $250 USD
